New Ownership Welcomes a Fresh Beginning
2023 ushered in a new era for Medical House Calls as we came under new ownership. Wesley, LLC, a Franklin, Tennessee-based company founded by entrepreneur Chuck McDowell, purchased Medical House Calls halfway through last year, expediting our company’s growth.
Founded in 2020 by Stuart Jones to meet the healthcare needs of those who prefer at-home service rather than going to a clinic, doctor’s office, or hospital, Medical House Calls has attracted a lot of Middle Tennessee natives with their services. That included McDowell, whose experience as a patient resulted in him acquiring the company.
“After becoming aware of Medical House Calls, my wife and I began using them for COVID testing,” said McDowell. “Once we learned about their full suite of services that we could utilize in the comfort of our own home, it really piqued my interest. This company has grown exponentially pretty much on word of mouth. By putting the expertise of our marketing team behind this, the possibilities for growth and expansion are incredible.”

- Serving More Patients: In 2023, we had the privilege of serving more patients than ever before. In total, we cared for more than 9,500 patients last year, with over 1800 of those being new clients and ending the year averaging 165 new patients per month. This accomplishment is a testament to our commitment to providing high-quality, personalized medical care to those in need.
- Offering Concierge Medicine: Our Concierge Medicine service saw a surge in new signups compared to the previous year, with over 20 new families signing up for our Gold Concierge program. This continuously growing number of families speaks to the demand for a more personalized and convenient approach to healthcare.
- Pivoting to Promotions: In an effort to continue growing our current healthcare services, new ownership has also been proactive in providing promotions for our consumer base. One of the more popular packages among patients last year was the “Buy 5 IVs, Get 1 Free” promo for our Mobile IV Therapy services.
- Introducing Weight Loss Management: In a bid to enhance our services, we introduced a new offering in Weight Loss Management featuring the innovative semaglutide medication. This addition allows us to support our patients in achieving their health and wellness goals more comprehensively. After launching the service in late 2022, we saw tremendous development last year, with a 75% increase in clients.

- Expanding Our Reach: Medical House Calls primarily services patients in the Davidson and Williamson counties of Middle Tennessee. Our commitment to accessible healthcare expanded last year as we extended our service area to also include areas in the Rutherford, Sumner, and Wilson counties. This expansion ensures that more individuals have access to our exceptional medical care.
- Planning Future Expansions: Looking ahead to 2024, we’re thrilled to share our ambitious plans for expansion beyond Tennessee as we extend our reach to the beautiful shores of Florida 30A, ensuring that more individuals have access to our exceptional medical care.
